What is the CBC?
The Central Buying Consortium (CBC) is the largest local authority buying consortium in the UK and includes councils in control of some of the largest budgets in the country. Its 17 local authority members come principally from the South East and include:
- Essex County Council
- Hertfordshire County Council
- Kent County Council
- West Sussex County Council
